The competition venue will be the Rio Olympic Velodrome, located in the Barra Olympic and Paralympic Park. The velodrome’s 250m track is made with Siberian pine trees inclined at an angle of 12 degrees at its shallowest point and 42 degrees at its steepest. The track and all equipment will be presented in accordance with UCI regulations. The spectator capacity is approximately 5,600.
