Traditionally, \u00a0in \u00a0cycling \u00a0competitions, \u00a0teams \u00a0hire \u00a0their \u00a0vehicles \u00a0from \u00a0regular \u00a0car \u00a0rental \u00a0companies \u00a0(i.e. Europcar, AVIS, HERTZ, etc.), however, in Brazil, unfortunately, this service is not possible.<\/p>

Brazilian laws only allow drivers who have a special professional driver’s license to drive vehicles with more than 9 seats, so regular rental companies do not offer vehicles with more than 7 seats in their portfolio.<\/p>

The\u00a0 \u00a0Organizing\u00a0 \u00a0Committee\u00a0 \u00a0will\u00a0 \u00a0offer,\u00a0 \u00a0free\u00a0 \u00a0of\u00a0 \u00a0charge,\u00a0 \u00a0transfer\u00a0 \u00a0services\u00a0 \u00a0(airport\/hotel\/airport)\u00a0 \u00a0and transportation of sports equipment for teams that contract accommodation services directly with the OC.<\/p>

Transport reservations must <\/strong>be requested through a specific transportation form, which will be made available to all teams by email.<\/p>

IMPORTANT: <\/strong>Transport services will not be offered between the hotels and the velodrome due to the short distance between the hotels and the competition venue.<\/p>

HIRING OF TRANSFER AND TRANSPORT OF SPORTS EQUIPMENT<\/strong><\/p>

For teams that do not contract <\/strong>accommodation in one of the official hotels and want to contract transfer services (airport\/hotel\/airport) and equipment transport, there is an option to hire those services separately, according to the service table below:<\/p>

Fee per person: \u20ac 100,00 (arrivals and departures)<\/p>

EQUIPMENT TRANSPORT SERVICE<\/strong>
Box truck
Transfer airport\/hotel and velodrome\/airport Fee up to 5 items: \u20ac 300,00
Fee from 5 to 12 items: \u20ac 500,00
Fee from 13 to 20 items: \u20ac 800,00
Fee from 21 to 30 items: \u20ac 1.200,00
Fee for over 30 items: \u20ac 1.800,00

Note: The fees above are considered for two trips, one upon arrival and another upon departure from the team.<\/p>

Bikes and equipment will be transported according to vehicle capacity and may arrive at the hotel\/velodrome after the team. Every four hours the truck will make the trip, even if it has not completed the capacity. The staff at the airport will inform the team of the equipment’s departure time and estimated arrival time at the hotel\/velodrome, with possible delays due to traffic.<\/p>
